 large paragraphs make the content difficult to skim, and if itrquote s difficult to skim yourquote re only going to be hitting the minority of people who actually read every word you write. theyrquote re out there, but there are far more people who skim. break those paragraphs into more manageable and easy to navigate chunks. second, and you knew irquote d come to this emdash  i think thererquote s too much content here. your editorrquote s note should be cut at least in half, and focus entirely as possible on reader benefit. i already mentioned shortening the paragraphs, or at least splitting them up.
